For Alexander McQueen’s Spring ’18 show, Sarah Burton created her own version of a country garden on the runway, inspired by her visit to Great Dixter house in East Sussex. Drawing on traditional military and gentleman’s tailoring, this coat is spliced together from panels of black wool-blend, beige linen and traditional tattersall checks. It has structured shoulders, slanted pockets and only fastens to the yoke, making your waist appear smaller.
